Multiple Teams · Holladay is Daily Mountain Eagle Offensive Player of the Week

Players of the Week: Holladay, Caldwell lead Week 4

Playerss of the Week 4

As a sophomore starter, Walker’s Jackson Holladay threw three touchdown passes for the Vikings last season.

Now he’s putting those numbers up each week. Holladay followed up a big outing against John Carroll with an even more impressive game last Friday at Minor.

Holladay completed 18 of 31 passes for 305 yards and four touchdowns as Walker improved to 3-0 on the season and 2-0 in region play with a 30-13 rout of Minor

Holladay is the Daily Mountain Eagle’s Offensive Player of the Week.

With the running game struggling against Minor — the Vikings finished with negative yardage on the ground — Walker put the offense on Holladay’s shoulders. He responded with touchdown strikes of 54, 67, 34 and 24 yards.

On the season, Holladay has completed 54 of 87 passes for 774 yards and nine touchdowns without an interception.

Through three games last year, Holladay had thrown for 231 yards and one touchdown.

Caldwell registered nine tackles, one tackle for loss, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery to lead the Wildcat defense.

The senior linebacker is the Daily Mountain Eagle’s Defensive Player of the Week.
