**The State does not sanction Sideline Cheer or Competition Cheer, but we field teams in those areas as well.

Of the sanctioned sports, Jasper fields 10 of its 21 sports in the Spring semester. Those sports recently received their new sections and areas. Each team will compete to advance out of its own area or section to compete in postseason play.
Baseball and Softball will compete in 6A Area 10.

Men’s and Women’s Soccer will also compete in 6A Area 10, but drop Jackson-Olin and add Gardendale from the baseball and softball areas.

Men’s and Women’s Tennis will compete in Section 7 with schools North of us.
Men’s and Women’s Track and Field will be a part of 16 team Section 3 that ranges all the way from Tuscaloosa to over the mountain in Birmingham. Their only mandated sectional competition occurs in the Sectional Track Meet and will qualify teams for the State Championships at that one meet. All other competitions are at the schedule of the individual teams.
Men’s and Women’s Golf will play in Section 4 with teams North of us.
All teams will compete in this alignment and classifications for the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 school years and will reclassify following their respective seasons in the 2021-2022 school year.
