The Varsity Viking Volleyball Team, currently ranked #6 in 6A is not the only talent in the gym these days.  The Junior Varsity Team has plenty of talent on their roster as well.
The Viking JV Volleyball Team competed in the Bob Jones Tournament this weekend in Madison, AL , and at the end of the day, was one of the final two teams standing.
For the tournament, the Junior Lady Vikes defeated Bob Jones, Grissom, Madison Academy, and Athens. After the run through their bracket, the ladies finished runner up to Brentwood, Tennessee. Brentwood has been the winner of 7 consecutive Tennessee State Championships, so the Vikes are in good company.
A great day for the JV Team was hi lighted by the great finish, but the ladies will look to build on their fantastic showing throughout the rest of the season.

Lady Viking Volleyball will be in action on Tuesday night in Carl Cannon Coliseum Cullman. The JV will play at 4:30, Varsity at 5:30. The JV will play best 2 out of 3 and the Varsity will play best 3 out of 5. Both games will be center court games. If you can’t make it out, you can always catch home events from Carl Cannon Coliseum live on the NFHS Network.
