Vikings News · Jasper Vs Jackson-Olin Schedule Change

Due to the threat of inclimate weather associated with Hurricane Delta, Jasper High School and Jackson-Olin have agreed to move Friday’s Viking home football game to Thursday night.

The category 4 storm charging at our gulf coast could wreak havoc on Friday’s contests around the state, and Head Coach Philip Bailey and Viking Administration did not want to put any players, coaches, officials, fans, or game staff in any danger.

Thursday’s game will still kick at 7:00 and should be an entertaining contest between the Vikings and the Mustangs. The Vikes are 5-0 against Jackson-Olin all time, and won the last contest between the two 24-0 in 2015.

If you can’t make it out to Ki-Ro Gambrell field, you can always find the game on the radio on 101.5 WJLX, or catch the live broadcast at nfhsnetwork.com .
